Location: Bellingham, WA
Pay

Apple Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing Bellingham team. We are committed to providing exceptional pediatric dental care in a fun, friendly, and positive environment where both our patients and employees can thrive.
Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in helping children build healthy smiles while supporting our doctors in providing high-quality dental care.
What You'll Do
As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will:
- Assist the doctor during restorative, hygiene, emergency, and specialty procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms before each patient.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards.
- Take digital radiographs.
- Prepare dental materials and instruments for procedures.
- Educate parents and patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
- Help children feel comfortable and confident during their visit.
- Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation.
- Assist with nitrous oxide procedures within Washington State regulations.
- Support General Anesthesia (GA) days as assigned.
- Monitor inventory and restock treatment rooms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
- Work closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office staff to provide excellent patient care.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Help create a positive, fun, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Pediatric dental experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is a plus.
- Digital radiography experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
