We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Packer to join our team at Apple Moving. Key Responsibilities:
Packing and Preparation:
- Package items securely and efficiently based on packing lists and customer orders.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled and marked for identification.
Quality Control:
- Inspect items to ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
- Report any defective items or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of packed items and inventory levels.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding packing and handling of goods.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and shipping teams to fulfill orders efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors regarding packing requirements and order status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in packing or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and under pressure.
