Apple Mountain Resort is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of our multi-service resort and hospitality business. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional seeking to make a meaningful impact across golf, events, food & beverage, and hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain general ledger activity and prepare journal entries
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
· Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
· Monitor daily revenue reporting and cash reconciliations
· Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership
· Analyze revenue trends, expenses, and budget variances
· Support budgeting and forecasting activities
· Utilize accounting and financial management systems
· Reconcile POS, event management, and accounting platforms
· Develop Excel-based tracking and reporting tools
· Support audits and maintain organized financial documentation
Qualifications
· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
· Two or more years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Comfortable working across multiple technology platforms
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
