Our infrastructure powers search features across a variety of Apple products, including Apple Intelligence, Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Messages and multi-modal Lookup. As part of this group, you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments, with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day.
As a member of the team you'll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling software feature development delivering Apple Intelligence to customers. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle challenges.
5 years of experience with Swift programming, ObjC is a plus\nExpertise in working with Concurrency primitives\nUnderstanding of client/server architectures\nProficiency with SDK APIs, Apple Developer Tools (Xcode, Instruments)\nComfort with large codebases and practical solutions\nKnowledge of software patterns that allow for testing\nExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a team\nBS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience with Networking stack, CDNs is a plus\nExperience with Performance Profiling and Optimization techniques is a plus\nExperience with telemetry, defining and measuring SLAs is a plus
