What are the responsibilities and job description for the SIPI - RF Integrity Engineer position at Apple, Inc.?
Our RF Integrity (RFI) team pioneers novel methodologies to solve the most complex crosstalk and coexistence issues in highly integrated systems. We operate at the cutting edge of RF/Analog design, using advanced EM/Circuit simulation and hands-on lab validation to ensure flawless performance. Your work will span the entire system-from silicon and packaging to modules, PCBs, and the final product. In this role, the lines between traditional engineering domains are blurred, and the methods are constantly evolving. As an RF Integrity Engineer, you will dive deep into package design, SI/PI, and RF technology to solve the critical challenges that define modern wireless devices. If you are driven by a challenge and thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity you've been looking for.
As an RF Integrity Engineer, you are a natural problem-solver, comfortable navigating issues without clear boundaries and passionate about mastering new technologies. You possess deep theoretical and practical knowledge in one or more core areas: electromagnetic theory, RF/Analog circuit design, Signal and Power Integrity, and communication theory. You will leverage sophisticated EM and circuit simulation, system-level analysis, and hands-on testing to unravel complex system interactions and directly influence our product design.
Bachelors degree required.
A strong command of RF/microwave engineering fundamentals and expertise with 2D/3D EM simulation tools.\nExperience with the IC design and simulation flow.\nHands-on experience in RF module/board development and debug.\nExperience with high speed signal or optics/photonics design.\nKnowledge on RF system modeling and link budgeting for transceiver chains.
