The Health Sensing HW team develops groundbreaking health sensors that are central to helping our customers live a healthier lifestyle.\\n\\nWe are looking for a sensor engineer with a desire to innovate in the space of optical sensors and health sensing features. Our team helps support health sensing features by working through sensor and algorithm development, performance and power tradeoffs across multiple generations of hardware, and a wide range of operating conditions, user variability, and ambient conditions.
The team you will join is responsible for designing and delivering optical-based health features for Apple's wearable devices. We are highly collaborative and partner with a variety of teams across Apple. You will work closely with internal and cross-functional teams to tackle challenges involving sensors and algorithms, and you will play a key role in developing solutions to enable optical sensing features.
Knowledge of circuits/sensors.\nStrong software development skills, with proficiency in Python.\nExcellent verbal communications skills.\nMinimum requirement of a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Collaborative and willing to work in cross-functional fast-paced technology development.\nExceptional problem solving skills.\nFamiliar with signal processing.\nExperience in firmware development and knowledge of HW/FW development cycle.\nKnowledge of EE, including noise modeling, and integrated circuits.\nExperience with sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, and signal-to-noise analysis.\nFamiliarity with health sensor design and signal acquisition.
