What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Assistant Teacher (Part-Time) position at Apple Child Care Center?
Apple Child Care is a KEYSTONE STAR 4 Center located in the heart of Mayfair! We are looking for dedicated teachers to join our staff for our open Part-Time positions. Available shifts include 12 PM - 6 PM, 1 PM - 6 PM, and 2 PM - 6 PM. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Adhering to lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
- Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
- Monitor children during inside and outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
- Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
- Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during meal times
- Changing diapers and maintaining a sanitary environment
- Willingness to complete professional development training and further your education
- Prefer at least a CDA or a willingness to complete a CDA course, but will accept High School Diploma/GED
- Salary commensurate upon education and experience.
