Job Description:
Note: Rhapsody certification is mandatory.
Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and support healthcare integrations using the Rhapsody Integration Engine. Build interfaces between applications using HL7, FHIR, API, X12, XML, JSON, databases and file-based integrations. Rhapsody commonly uses JavaScript for transformation logic and supports various connectivity options such as APIs, SFTP, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine.
- Design message routing, transformation, and validation workflows.
- Build integrations using HL7 v2, FHIR, JSON, XML, X12, and REST APIs.
- Configure communication points such as:
- API/REST
- SFTP/File
- Database (JDBC)
- Create JavaScript filters and transformation logic within Rhapsody.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and monitor interfaces.
- Work with healthcare standards including HL7, FHIR, and X12.
- Prepare technical design documents and deployment guides.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and client teams.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x and FHIR.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML.
- Knowledge of X12 transactions (278, 834, 837, etc.).
- JavaScript development within Rhapsody.
- Database skills: SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with SFTP and file-based integrations.
- Debugging and production support experience.
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and API security.
- Understanding of integration architecture and interface engine patterns.
