Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Colombian accounting standards, IFRS, and corporate accounting policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and follow-ups.
- Present financial results, insights, and reports in English to global senior management.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Strengthen internal controls and optimize accounting procedures and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and internationally.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting with a valid professional license.
- 5-7 years of experience in senior accounting roles or accounting leadership.
- Experience with NetSuite (required): strong understanding of NetSuite accounting modules, reporting, and system workflows.
- Advanced English (B2 ) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and Colombian accounting regulations.
- Proven experience managing audits.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
