We provide a stipend to ensure your home office is comfortable and helps you stay focused!QA Engineer ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and ExecutionDevelop and execute detailed manual test cases for functional, regression, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on our Salesforce-based applications, performing cross-browser testing as needed.Utilize QMetry on Jira for effective test case management and tracking.Log, track, and verify defects, working closely with the development team through the resolution process, often utilizing browser developer tools (like Chrome DevTools) to investigate and articulate front-end issues.Contribute to the definition of comprehensive QA test plans and strategies.Technical QA SupportConfigure and maintain local test environments, including setting up and running automation tools (like Postman for API testing and Puppeteer for browser automation) and configuring related technologies (e.g., Node.js applications, Jest testing framework) necessary for testing.Execute existing automated test scripts (written in Node.js/Jest, and Puppeteer scripts) and report results.Collaborate with the QA Lead Engineer to identify areas for test automation improvement and provide input on automation strategy.Collaboration and ImprovementParticipate in sprint planning, design, and review meetings.Proactively identify and communicate potential quality risks and improvements to the QA process.Provide clear and concise status updates on testing progress and defect metrics.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or Tester, primarily focused on manual browser testing of web or enterprise applications.Strong hands-on experience testing applications built on the Salesforce platform.Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Technical proficiency sufficient to:Configure local testing environments.Use Chrome DevTools (or similar browser developer tools) for debugging and detailed front-end analysis.Set up, run, and troubleshoot existing automated test scripts using Node.js and the Jest framework, including those that leverage Puppeteer.Perform API testing using Postman.Configure and run command-line tools and applications (e.g., Node.js, npm) required for testing or environment setup.Experience with test case management tools like QMetry or similar.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.Nice to HavesSalesforce ExperienceExperience in the payments software industry.Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.Experience with Node.js, Jest, and Puppeteer.BenefitsHealth, Dental, & Vision InsurancePaid Holidays401k (Via Betterment) Work from home (or anywhere with wifi!)Flexible SchedulesAnnual Company Trip (Learn more in this video)Home office improvement stipendInternet Access & Cell Phone ReimbursementAutomatic yearly cost of living salary adjustmentBonus Program
