What we’re looking for
As a Staff Business Systems Analyst, you will be a strategic technology partner to the finance and accounting team, delivering key company initiatives that improve financial operations scaling, reporting, and compliance. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the strategic roadmap for NetSuite, recommending the implementation of new features and functionalities that align with business objectives. You will also act as a key change agent, helping to evolve our team towards a product-focused mindset, driving the adoption of enhanced agile, documentation, and testing practices.
Your impact
Business Process Analysis: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements for our financial systems and processes. Develop detailed documentation, including BRDs, TDDs, use cases and process flows to capture current state, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization, improvement, and automation.
- Solution Delivery: Collaborate closely with technical teams to transform business requirements into comprehensive technical design documents (TDDs). Establish and communicate clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables for critical projects. Ensure adherence to documentation standards and SDLC processes while maintaining open communication regarding project status.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for NetSuite and peripheral financial applications, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and recommend the implementation of new features and functionalities that align with key business objectives and drive growth and scalability.
- Business Partnership: Foster a product-oriented mindset and build consultative relationships with the finance and accounting teams and other business stakeholders. Deeply understand the processes, challenges, and requirements of your business partners and ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
Team Building & Development: Contribute to our team culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Take a lead in the team's transformation towards a product-led development approach, championing and implementing improvements to agile methodologies, documentation standards, and advanced testing techniques.
8 years of proven Business Systems Analyst experience in analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation of complex enterprise applications and integrations.
- Expert knowledge of Netsuite Financial Management modules (NetSuite Advanced Financials, Electronic Bank Payments, Fixed Assets Management, Multi-Book accounting, OneWorld).
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment with annual recurring revenue of $1B .
Excellent problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
- Coupa application experience or strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Zuora application experience or quote-to-cash experience with a similar application
- Experience in Enterprise Systems integrations using middlewares, iPaas, etc..
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is 125,500 - 157,000.
