Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect with extensive experience in SnowSQL, Spark, and Snowflake to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and cloud-based data solutions, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Snowflake's capabilities and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality data solutions. Responsibilities: • Design and implement data architecture solutions using Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SnowSQL and Spark to facilitate data ingestion and transformation. • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Optimize existing data pipelines and workflows for efficiency and reliability. • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Snowflake environments. • Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvements. • Document architecture designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and training. • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members. Mandatory Skills: • Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect with a strong focus on SnowSQL. • Expertise in Spark for data processing and transformation. • In depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices. • Strong programming skills in SQL and experience with data modeling. • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools. • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
