Job Summary
We are a fast-growing live entertainment and social technology company. We partner with high-traffic nightlife venues, bars, and event spaces to host social mixers. Our platform helps venue guests break the ice, meet new people, and engage in fun, lighthearted social interactions.
We are expanding our presence and are looking for highly outgoing, energetic Event Hosts to manage our live experiences, guide guests, and keep the energy high throughout the night.
The Role
As an Event Host, you are the face of our brand on the ground. You will not be serving drinks or checking coats; your sole focus is guest engagement.
We offer a guaranteed hourly base rate of $20.00/hr, plus a transparent, metric-driven bonus structure based on the number of successful guest engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact and hype-person for our events at partnered venues.
- Approach venue guests in a friendly, non-pushy manner to explain how our live social platform works.
- Facilitate icebreakers and lighthearted social challenges between guests.
- Monitor the live venue leaderboard and announce prize winners at the end of the event.
- Troubleshoot basic user questions regarding the web app (no technical background required).
- Maintain a high-energy, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere throughout the shift.
Qualifications & Who You Are
- Highly Extroverted: You have zero fear of approaching strangers and thrive in bustling, loud, and energetic social environments.
- Experience: 1 years in hospitality, event promotions, brand ambassadorship, acting, or live entertainment is highly preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating smartphone web apps and helping others do the same.
- Availability: Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evenings (typically 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 (as our events take place in 21 nightlife venues).
- Professionalism: You know how to read a room, respect boundaries, and ensure all guests feel safe and comfortable while participating.
