Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Customer Experience Retail Manager to lead our Appearance Plus Cleaners location on Erie Avenue. In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily store operations, and inspiring a high-performing team. Your leadership will ensure a welcoming environment where customers feel valued, and staff are motivated to excel. Accountabilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Accountability: Lead, train, schedule and support retail team members
- Grow sales at the retail level
- Participate in community involvement opportunities
- Ensure garments are properly received, inspected, tagged, and prepared for processing
- Maintain accurate cash handling and register procedures
- Responsible for monthly Profit and Loss
- Monitor order completion and communicate delays or concerns to customers
- Promote our free pick up and delivery service to qualifying customers
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming retail location
- Track store performance and help achieve customer service and sales goal
- Meet with the management team to strategize and implement/meet strategic and operational goals
- Communicate effectively with production, delivery drivers and company leadership
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting, developing and retaining customer focused staff
- Oversee general maintenance of building and property
Qualifications:
- Strong retail, customer service and supervisory experience
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn and attitude
- Dependable, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable coaching employees and holding team members accountable
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Basic computer and point of sale system skills
- Ability to work approximately 30 - 35 hours per week, including some Saturdays
- Dry Cleaning experience is helpful, but not required
