We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
*Responsibilities*
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers or businesses
- Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Maintain ongoing communication with dispatchers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance and ensure cleanliness
*Experience*
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle for delivery
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work
- Experience with delivery operations is a plus
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $175.00 - $250.00 per day
