Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transportation.
- Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, managing route driving with precision and professionalism.
- Handle hazardous materials in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated, including Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with Towing
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures.
- Experience with manual transmission trucks and manual handling of logistics cargo is highly desirable.
- Skilled in GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution.
- Ability to load and unload freight safely while adhering to safety standards for truck loading/unloading procedures.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance on over-the-road routes.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,400.00 per week
