We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Perform frame carpentry tasks, including the installation of walls, roofs, and other structural components.
- Execute metal stud framing for interior walls and partitions as required by project specifications.
- Assist in remodeling projects by removing existing structures and installing new materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Work with drywall installation, plastering, and finishing techniques to achieve a polished look in completed spaces.
- Conduct masonry work as needed for foundations, walls, or decorative elements.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or labor-intensive roles within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices is essential.
- Knowledge of various carpentry techniques, including plumb measurements and framing methods.
- Experience with drywall installation, plastering, masonry, and other related skills is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed throughout the workday.
