Day DSP Part Time 29.75 (M-F)

Job Summary: Provide compassionate, individualized support and care to residents with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Facilitate daily living activities, personal development, and social integration in a safe, supportive residential environment.

Responsibilities:
1.    Daily Living Supports:
•    Help individuals develop and maintain skills for daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care. 
•    Support individuals in developing daily living skills, such as cooking, communication, and hygiene.

2.    Skill Development and Advocacy: 
•    Accompany participants on group outings to promote community integration.
•    Provide transportation, if applicable, ensuring safety during trips. 

3.    Documentation:
•    Record daily activities, progress, and incidents according to organizational and regulatory standards.
•    Maintain confidentiality of participants’ personal information. 

4.    Team Collaboration:
•    Communicate regularly with program staff, case managers, and families.
•    Participate in training, meetings, and professional development opportunities. 

5.    Other duties as assigned.
