What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide position at Appalachian Home Care?
We have an immediate need for aides in Watauga, NC.
There is some flexibility with the hours. You will work in the personal homes of clients and may work with multiple clients in a day. It is important to be able to multi task and maintain a positive attitude when facing a challenge.
We offer a hiring bonus which is paid out after 90 days of consistent work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine individualized care to clients.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status
- Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing clients.
- Provide light housekeeping, such as laundry, washing fishes, and cleaning bathroom.
- Provide client with companionship and emotional support.
- Provide transportation for appointments and errands.
- and other tasks relevant to each specific client.
