About the Role
As a Mobile Crisis Dispatcher, your primary responsibility will be to receive, assess, and prioritize emergency calls, dispatch appropriate crisis intervention staff, provide real-time support to callers, welcoming and registering individuals to the behavioral health urgent care, as well as, providing assistance to the mobile crisis and behavioral health urgent care staff. Additionally, the Dispatcher will complete insurance verifications, enrollments, and monitor the ongoing status of each crisis case.
Position Highlights:
- Respond to emergency calls, assess crisis situations, and provide a calm, supportive presence for individuals in distress
- Coordinate and dispatch mobile crisis response teams, ensuring timely and effective intervention
- Collaborate with mental health professionals, law enforcement, and other emergency services to support comprehensive crisis management
- Maintain accurate documentation, including call details, outcomes, and insurance verification
- Provide follow-up support and monitor ongoing cases to ensure quality care and safety post-crisis

Compensation
Competitive hourly pay aligned with your role, experience, and contribution, with opportunities for growth over time.
- Compensation: $17.36 - $22.29
Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Experience:
- Previous experience in emergency dispatch, crisis intervention, insurance verification, or a related field is desirable, but not required.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and fax.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
