Apothecary Products, LLC is growing! We are seeking applicants for a Buyer to join an existing team of talented supply chain professionals accountable for ensuring materials flow to our manufacturing and distribution centers, ultimately getting our consumer wellness products in front of the consumers who need them at large retailers, chain drug stores and ecommerce globally.
Apothecary Products, LLC (APL) is the #1 supplier of medication management products in North America with innovative and growing brands including EzyDose®, Bamboobies®, and Flents®. The future incumbent will have a multifaceted role performing material demand analysis and PO placement with domestic and international suppliers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, deep passion for supply chain concepts and consumer goods products experience. The ability to prioritize, efficiently plan work activities, and be detail and results-oriented is critical to the position. The role will office in a hybrid capacity based in our Burnsville, Minnesota location.
In this role the incumbent will:
- Analyze demand requirements for materials; transform into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition
- Submit maintain purchase orders to pre-approved suppliers
- Implement supplier replenishment strategies to manage inventory control levels
- Partner with Marketing and Sales for commercial product launches
- Review forecasts and provide input to the Manager to help maintain forecast accuracy
- Work closely with Strategic Sourcing team to implement supplier pricing strategies

Qualifications Experience:
We seek applicants with these critical skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field. Consideration will be given to candidates with equivalent experience
- 3 years experience similar capacity within manufacturing or distribution environment for food, medical device, consumer goods or packaging with high supplier mix.
- Prior experience operating in a fast-paced business with effectiveness in a small company/location
- Accomplished user of ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft NAV) to complete procurement activities
- Preferred qualification: CPIM or other APIC certification; working knowledge of US Customs and Border Patrol regulations or ability to quickly learn
