Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment including packaging machinery and industrial tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards.
- Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to production documents and specifications.
- Handle materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory control within the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment using basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools to minimize downtime.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to maintain compliance throughout production processes.
- Interpret production documents accurately for proper execution of tasks, including batch records, work orders, and SOPs.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols to prevent injuries or accidents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing area and warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Support warehouse operations by preparing shipments, managing inventory levels, and ensuring accurate documentation of all materials handled.
- Participate in safety training sessions and continuously uphold safety standards in all aspects of production and warehouse activities.
Skills
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Experience operating packaging equipment and industrial machinery used in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and hand trucks.
- Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately for efficient workflow execution.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping/receiving procedures, and safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for assembly or troubleshooting tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence while performing heavy lifting or operating industrial equipment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing facilities or similar environments is highly desirable for success in this role.
