Production Supervisor
Salary: Starting at $55,000 (based on experience)
Location: Gainesville, GA
Join a 30 year, employee-owned manufacturer in the natural products industry. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to take ownership of a regulated, high-volume distribution environment supporting practitioner-grade supplements nationwide.
This role is designed for a career operations leader who understands how to run people, systems, compliance, and performance — not just move boxes.
The Scope of This Role
This position carries full operational responsibility for the warehouse.
You will be accountable for:
- Labor planning & daily staffing levels
- Inventory accuracy & cycle counts
- Shipping, receiving, and fulfillment performance
- cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and internal SOP compliance
- Training, coaching, and performance management
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Cross-departmental coordination with Production, Purchasing, and Quality
You will have the authority to:
- Set workflow priorities
- Assign labor and leads
- Enforce SOPs
- Correct performance issues
- Implement process improvements
This is a leadership seat, not a task-based role.
Who We’re Actually Looking For
We’re not looking for someone “ready to be a supervisor.”
We’re looking for someone who already is one.
Required Experience
- 5–7 years in warehouse, logistics, or distribution
- 3–5 years leading teams in a formal supervisory or management role
- Experience owning shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment
- Experience with WMS or ERP systems
- History of hitting KPIs (accuracy, on-time shipping, productivity, safety)
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in FDA-regulated, cGMP, pharmaceutical, food, or supplement environments
- Familiarity with audits, documentation, and compliance standards
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- Forklift certification
- EDI / retail compliance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
