Trading Associate

Apollon Wealth Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trading Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading, model building, and exceptional proficiency with Orion/Eclipse.
Responsibilities:
- Execute trades using Eclipse and ASTRO
- Develop and maintain investment models within Eclipse and ASTRO
- Collaborate with advisors to create custom investment models tailored to client needs
- Analyze and address tax implications associated with trades
- Prepare and maintain monthly trade reports from various custodians
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Generate custom reports in Orion
- Provide exceptional customer service to advisors and clients using Orion
- Address inquiries, resolve issues, and offer guidance on investment-related matters
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Preferred
- Required Series 65 or 66
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Orion Advisor Services
- 1-3 years of experience in ASTRO and Eclipse
- 1-3 years of experience in trading in Orion / Eclipse
- Knowledge of different custodian platforms
- Reconciling and correcting accounts
- Gathering and compiling information
- Read, interpret, analyze and apply transaction information
- Intermediate level in Excel
Experience in Orion Advisor Services preferred
