Job Title: Network Administrator
Location: New Kent, VA - Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Interview: In Person Only
**Preference for local Richmond candidates due to the on site requirement
**Standard business hours (8:30 - 5:30) Monday Friday.
Job Description:
General IT knowledge across networking, systems, web, and
cybersecurity enough to speak the language and triage issues-
Experience coordinating or managing IT vendors or contractors-
Comfortable serving as the bridge between non-technical agency staff and technical contractors-
Ability to track open tickets, follow up on deliverables, and escalate as needed-
Experience in a small office or government environment preferred- Familiarity with Commonwealth of Virginia IT standards (VITA) a plus
Technical Skills (Required):-
IT vendor and contractor management-
General networking and systems knowledge (awareness level)-
Cybersecurity awareness and VITA/COV compliance coordination-
Website content coordination (not development)-
IT asset and software license tracking-
Help desk triage and escalation-
Project coordination and ticket/task management-
