As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicles to ensure the security and safety of premises.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, visitors, and employees with inquiries and requests.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify and address potential security risks or hazards.
- Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures to maintain order and compliance.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports documenting security-related activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related field preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid Florida Security Officer License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle emergency situations with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
