Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Propane Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers between 7:30am and 4:00pm M-F. Duties
- Safely operate trucks to deliver propane.
- Follow designated routes for delivery driving, adhering to traffic regulations to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Verify delivery orders, accurately document deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to report delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on route.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols during every delivery operation.
Experience
- Hands-on experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Prior experience in propane or hazardous materials delivery is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of truck safety regulations and proper vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for tanker or hazardous materials is required.
