Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Repair and replace automotive systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, auto body components, and auto electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems on various vehicle makes including GM vehicles.
- Repair Hydraulic Handicap Lifts
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair industry with a focus on mechanical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, transmissions, powertrain components, and suspension systems.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, oil change procedures, and auto estimating software.
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery confidently.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with experience working on heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
