What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician - A position at Apollo Diesel & Automotive LLC.?
Job Overview
Automotive Technicians Wanted A & B Techs | Oil & Tire Technicians
Apollo Diesel & Automotive is growing, and we're looking for people who take pride in their work—not people looking for somewhere to collect a paycheck.
If you're the type of technician who can diagnose problems, stay busy without someone constantly telling you what to do, and takes ownership of your work, we want to talk to you.
If you're looking for a place to spend half the day on your phone, avoid work, or need someone to hold your hand every step of the way, this is not the shop for you.
What We're Looking For
A & B Technicians
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to repair vehicles correctly the first time.
- Experience with drivability, electrical, suspension, brakes, A/C, engine, and diesel repairs.
- Able to work independently and efficiently.
- Own tools preferred.
Oil & Tire Technicians
- Oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, rotations, inspections, batteries, and general maintenance.
- Willingness to learn and move up.
- Pride in doing quality work quickly and safely.
What We Expect
- Show up on time. Every day.
- Stay productive throughout the day.
- Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.
- Treat customers' vehicles like they're your own.
- Work well with your team.
- Keep your work area clean.
- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
This is a fast-paced shop. There is always something to do. If your work is finished, find the next job, help another technician, clean your area, or improve the shop.
Phones are for breaks and emergencies—not for scrolling social media while everyone else is working.
What You'll Get
- Competitive pay based on experience and ability.
- Full-time, year-round work.
- Modern equipment and a busy shop.
- A team that works hard but enjoys what they do.
- Opportunity to grow if you earn it.
One Last Thing...
We're not looking for perfect people.
We're looking for dependable people.
If you work hard, show up every day, solve problems, and take pride in your work, you'll fit in here.
If you need constant supervision, don't like getting dirty, or think the day should end after doing the bare minimum, we're probably not the right fit.
If you're ready to work with a team that values effort, skill, and accountability, apply today.
