HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER
STARTING DATE: August 2025
REPORTS TO: H.S. Assistant Principal
SALARY RANGE: $42,000 – $64,000, based on appropriate salary schedule, commensurate
with education and experience

WORK WEEK/YEAR: • 183-day school year calendar
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • valid Ohio certification/licensure in Integrated Science (7-12)
- positive and initiative-driven professional with a passion for teaching
high school students
- dedicated to helping students develop high levels of academic
competency
- effective communication and collaborative skills with team-oriented
philosophies
- skilled at bridging differences and fostering mutual respect to create a
cohesive, effective learning environment
- ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks
- willingness to be involved in the school improvement process
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • excellent organizational and human relation skills
- ability to plan and develop an instructional program in integrated
science
- ability to learn and use Google Suite, Schoology (course learning
management system) and other technology
RESPONSIBILITIES: • develop an integrated science curriculum and teach high school youth
