What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Assistant position at Apollo Career Center H.S.?
Responsibilities:
• work with instructor to supervise students in classroom, lab, and/or on job sites; and/or monitor and provide instructional
support to students in study hall or in Student Achievement Center
• work cooperatively with educators and other teaching assistants
• study hall monitoring may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
• ability to work with and motivate high school youth
• positive role model for youth
• possess, or be eligible to obtain, an Ohio substitute teaching license or an educational aide permit
• ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
• possess, or ability to obtain, a van driver’s license
