Scope of the Role
The Hospital Outpatient Clinic Manager serves as the clinic’s Office Manager, ensuring outpatient services run smoothly, safely, and in line with healthcare regulations. This role exists to keep documentation, staff oversight, and quality systems aligned so patients receive timely, compliant care.
Key responsibilities include clinic operations management; Staff Supervisor duties for administrative workflows; leading QAPI reporting and participation in monthly/quarterly meetings; monitoring medical records quality, deficiencies, and corrective action plans; supporting utilization review activities (continued stay, authorization/certification, concurrent and retrospective review/appeals); maintaining intake logs and master indexes; coordinating records retrieval, tracking, and supply control; and partnering with marketing and admissions to support appropriate patient flow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- 2 years in office management or medical records within healthcare administration
- Working knowledge of QAPI, medical documentation standards, and compliance expectations

Throughout the afternoon, you balance desk-based work with quick in-person check-ins, keeping priorities visible and timelines realistic.
