Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their skills in product development, testing, and support within the lighting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of lighting products and components
- Conduct testing and validation of new designs for performance, safety, and compliance
- Support product documentation including CAD drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering support for production and field problems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships or co-op experience a plus)
- Strong CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Basic knowledge of LED lighting technologies and electrical components is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
