Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Technical Trainer supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).
The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:
- Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution
- Enterprise Performance & Capabilities
- Enterprise Mission Management
This is a full-time opportunity at Ft Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of single day training (in-person and or virtual) sessions to the NEC SE&I workforce. Trainings focus on the high-level NC3 operations and technical systems, which includes the operational environments.
- Conduct research necessary to assist with development and revisions to training courses. Prepare training catalogs for distribution.
- Support the team for development of instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
- Assist with delivery of training. Provide support for formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer aided training.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibilityEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, or educational equivalentYears of Experience: 3 years of Program management experience with the following experience:
- Conducting research necessary to develop and revise training courses and preparing appropriate training catalogs
- Assisting with development of instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms)
- Supporting training of personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer
Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: DoD Basic Instructor Course (BIC) Certification
