Training Facilitator

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Technical Trainer supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).

The SE&I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&I also has the responsibility to apply established standards, and, when necessary, develop new standards, to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The SE&I is comprised of 3 branches:

• Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution
• Enterprise Performance & Capabilities
• Enterprise Mission Management

This is a full-time opportunity at Ft Meade, MD. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver (anticipated quarterly) single day training (in-person and or virtual) to the NEC SE&I workforce (at Ft Meade, MD and Offutt AFB, NE) needed to understand a high-level NC3 operations and technical systems to include operational environments they must operate in to meet mission requirements.
• Conduct research necessary to develop and revise training courses and preparing appropriate training catalogs.
• Develop all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
• Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer aided training.
• Facilitate sessions and instruct SE&I leadership and project leads on continuous improvement methods and tools (i.e., Kaizen Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Mapping).

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS with SCI eligibilityEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Instructional Design, or educational equivalentYears of Experience: 3 years of Program management experience with the following experience:

• Conducting research necessary to develop and revise training courses and preparing appropriate training catalogs.
• Developing all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids) and student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
• Training personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer

Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: DoD Basic Instructor Course (BIC) Certification

Pay Range

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
