Overview
Apogee has exciting opportunities for Senior Configuration/Data Managers supporting AFLCMC directorates. These senior-level positions provide expert configuration and data management support for complex acquisition programs.
This is a full-time position located at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration management activities for major programs
- Provide expert guidance on complex CM/DM issues
- Chair or co-chair CCBs
- Lead FCA/PCA planning and execution
- Mentor junior CM/DM personnel
- Develop CM/DM plans and strategies
- Provide expert analysis of configuration impacts
- Lead resolution of complex configuration issues
- Develop and implement CM/DM processes
- Provide strategic guidance on data management
- Lead coordination with contractors on CM/DM matters
- Develop training materials for CM/DM processes
- Review and approve complex configuration changes
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation:High School diploma or GED
Years of Experience: 10 years of CM/DM experience, 5 years in DoD
- Expert knowledge of configuration management processes
- Extensive experience with CCB management
- Knowledge of EIA-649 or equivalent CM standards
- Experience with complex acquisition programs
- Advanced proficiency in CM tools and databases
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and train others
