Position Summary: In this role, daily responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for patients and clinicians, providing front office support, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Duties involve managing patient flow, answering phones, responding to inquiries regarding insurance coverage and benefits, and assisting with general patient management needs. Additional tasks include maintaining accurate electronic records, supporting clinicians with administrative needs, and ensuring the front office environment remains organized and welcoming. The Front Office Coordinator will rely on strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and professional communication skills to deliver an exceptional experience for both patients and staff.

Reports To: Senior Manager of Operations
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in/out patients in a courteous manner, including going over explanation of benefits and collection of co-payments, deductibles, co-ins, balances etc.
- Providing patients with initial intake paperwork and evaluating paperwork after completion
- Ordering and organizing supplies
- Working with building management to coordinate facilities
- Accepting furniture and other office deliveries; sometimes building small furniture
- Coordinating with set-up and implementation of janitorial staff
- Helping to coordinate IT setup and maintenance while working with our IT vendors
- Answering calls
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Answering emails and patient messages via Patient Portal
- Maintaining office upkeep and making sure common space is clean and clutter free
- Handling office mail
- Managing electronic patient forms
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 2 years of experience in a front desk setting
· Possess prior knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA requirements is preferred
· Previous experience with EMR/EHR
· Ability to work independently and as a team member
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to multi-task
· Legal authorization to work in the United States
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
