- # of Beds/Residents: 83/74, 20 of these beds are in a locked down dementia unit
- EMR: Point Click Care
- Ratios: RN's: 5:74 on days and afternoons; 1:74 on midnights
- Required Certifications: BLS, RN license
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CHF, COPD, DM, Rehab, Dementia
- Job Duties: Administer medications, head to toe assessments, possible charge nurse duties.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year LTC, Ok with first time travelers
- Are there IV's or titratable drips?: We take IVs for fluid or antibiotics
- Area there Tele monitors? No
- Are RN's required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: No
- DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: We have DON/Charge nurse for each shift/1st and 3rd shift supervisors
- Physician availability after hours: 24 hour access to Team Health
- Interdisciplinary Team: PT/OT, Dietician, Activities, Social Services, MDS/case managers, Business Office biller
- Is RT on-site 24/7: No, Bipap and Cpap no vented patients
- Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: No
- Shifts & Scheduling: 8s - Days: 7am-3pm,Mids: 3pm-11:00pm, Nights 11pm-7am; 12s - Days: 7a-7p, Nights 7p-7a
- Weekend Requirements: Every other
- Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into Holiday Rotation
- Call or Standby Requirement: None
- Floating Requirements: Throughout facility
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs
- Unit/Department Specific Orientation: Relias modules, skills checkoff, and finish the day, 1 day on general side and 1 day on general side for orientation
