Job Title: AI-Enabled Software Engineer
Location: Remote (Accept EST cost cities)
Duration: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension.
Role Summary
The AI-Enabled Software Engineer is a high-output individual contributor who delivers complex stories using AI agents while serving as the technical quality authority for the team. This role owns code quality standards, reviews and signs off all PRs from team engineers, and works closely with the Solution Architect and Enterprise Architect to translate high-level designs into implementable technical approaches. The AI-Enabled Software Engineer is expected to handle the most technically challenging stories and establish patterns that other engineers follow with proficiencies in primary tech stack (C#, .net core, Azure react, SQL, python)

Responsibilities
- Deliver stories including high-complexity items (API design, data model changes, integration work) using AI SDLC Orchestrator agents end-to-end
- Review and approve all pull requests from AI-Enabled Software Engineers; enforce coding standards, security practices, and test coverage requirements; perform functional smoke testing against acceptance criteria before merge
- Coordinate with Solution Architect on technical approach for each epic/feature; translate architecture guidance into actionable implementation patterns
- Coordinate with Enterprise Architect on cross-system integration points, data contracts, and compliance requirements
- Define and maintain the team''s technical standards: code style, testing strategy, error handling patterns, logging conventions, and API design
- Configure, optimize and contribute to AI SDLC Orchestrator workflows for the team''s specific tech stack and quality requirements
- Conduct technical spikes and proofs-of-concept for high-risk or Client technical
- Pair with AI-Enabled Software Engineer on complex tasks; provide real-time guidance on AI-assisted development
- Document architectural decisions, integration patterns, and technical debt items
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in building production
- Expert-level proficiency in AI-assisted development: must demonstrate ability to use Github copilot/Claude Code or equivalent to produce production-quality code with appropriate test coverage
- Deep proficiency in the team''s primary tech stack (.net core, react, python)
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns: microservices, event-driven architecture, API design (REST/GraphQL), database
- Experience conducting thorough code reviews focused on correctness, performance, security, and maintainability
- Experience of automated testing at all levels: unit, integration, end-to-end,
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipeline design
- Understanding of application security principles: OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, secrets management, input validation
- Ability to read and understand architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications produced by architects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring or customizing multi-agent AI pipelines for software delivery
- Experience with database performance optimization and data pipeline design
- Contributions to internal developer platforms, shared libraries, or
- Familiarity with observability stack: structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics dashboards.
