  • Review, approve, and document high-impact inventory adjustments, write-offs, swell/shortage entries, and mark-to-market revaluation differences between operations and accounting

  • Ensure strict adherence to chain-of-custody, security, and compliance requirements

  • Support internal and external audits with complete documentation and explanations

KPIs, Reporting & Analysis

  • Own and report inventory KPIs including accuracy %, shrink/swell, shortage, turns, aging, reconciliation variances, mark-to-market differences, and audit performance

  • Use data and trend analysis to drive corrective actions and process improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with vault operations on proper handling of precious metals movements between various classifications (e.g., balance sheet, bank-owned, repo, customer-owned, consignment, unallocated/allocated) and ensure proper integrity, chain-of-custody, and reconciliation across each

  • Collaborate with warehouse operations to ensure inventory processes don’t compromise accuracy and integrity while supporting fulfillment speed

  • Ensure SOPs are version-controlled, accessible, and consistently followed across vault operations, warehouse, Risk, and Accounting teams

  • Train Operations and Accounting personnel on SOPs and drive adoption through audits and process reviews

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Own inventory-related workflows within the ERP environment

  • Identify opportunities to improve system controls, reporting, and transaction accuracy

  • Lead or support inventory-related projects and system enhancements
