Lean Leader Ops & AM Enablers

We’re strengthening our Lean capability at APM Terminals Elizabeth (ELZ) and are opening two Lean Leader roles to enable operational excellence and asset reliability through leader-led Lean.

These are hands-on roles, built at the GEMBA, focused on coaching leaders, stabilizing Daily Management, and enabling sustainable performance — not consultants or project management or desk-based positions.

📍 Elizabeth, NJ

This role focuses on operational flow and execution across:

Vessel | Yard | Gate | Rail

You will coach supervisors, planners, dispatchers, and job experts to:

• Own SQDC and Daily Management
• Reduce variability impacting CMPH and throughput
• Lead Lean from the floor through presence and discipline

This role focuses on equipment reliability and maintenance excellence, enabling:

RTGs | RS | TTs | CHE | workshops & technical teams

You will coach maintenance leaders and technicians to:

• Stabilize Daily Management and Standard Work
• Improve reliability, PM compliance, and MEX performance
• Drive defect elimination through Leader-Led GEMBA
