Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility during normal business hours.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and can work independently while providing professional and courteous service to employees, customers, and visitors.

Schedule

Monday–Friday Hours : 8am to 4pm

Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility
• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, entrances, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean various surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Monitor the facility throughout the day and address cleaning needs promptly
• Respond to spills and other immediate cleaning requirements
• Perform light general upkeep and maintenance duties
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or facility problems to management
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean and organized manner
• Follow established safety, cleaning, and company procedures
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, employees, and visitors
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, facility maintenance, or day porter work is preferred
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Must be able to follow instructions and company safety procedures
