Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Sr. Dot Net Developer to join our dynamic software engineering team. Duties

• Develop, test, and optimize backend systems using.NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core, WCF, and Web services, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP web services to facilitate smooth communication between distributed components.
• Lead system design efforts for new features or platforms, applying UML diagrams and best practices in software engineering.
• Collaborate with front-end developers utilizing React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related UI frameworks to create cohesive web applications.
• Maintain and enhance database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle by writing efficient queries using T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Visual Studio, TFS, GitHub, Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps to streamline development workflows.
• Conduct thorough debugging and unit testing to ensure code quality; participate in code reviews within Agile/Scrum teams following SDLC principles.
• Design system architecture for microservices-based solutions leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for scalability and resilience.
• Develop application features with a focus on performance optimization in distributed computing environments while adhering to security standards.
• Document system designs using UML diagrams and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ongoing support and future enhancements.

Skills

• Extensive experience with.NET framework including ASP.NET Core, MVC pattern, WCF services, and Web API development.
• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3 for front-end development integration with backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of database design principles with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL; experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats for web development projects.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services including AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Expertise in software engineering best practices such as UML system design diagrams, version control (Git/GitHub), TFS/SVN repositories.
• Experience developing distributed systems utilizing microservices architecture with Docker containers or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; comfortable working within fast-paced development cycles.
• Ability to implement multithreading techniques for high-performance applications; understanding of concurrency control mechanisms is essential.
• Skilled in debugging complex issues across multiple layers of the stack using Visual Studio or Eclipse IDEs.
• Familiarity with application security standards and best practices for web services and cloud-based applications.
