Customer Service/Retail Associate

Our client, a fast-expanding operator in the self-storage sector, is seeking Customer Service / Retail Associates for several locations across the Southeast. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction, light sales, and hands-on facility operations. Schedule

• Full-time, permanent role
• Schedule: Monday–Friday occasional Saturdays (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
• You will work 5 days per week, even when assigned a Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in person, online, and by phone to convert inquiries into rentals
• Assist with rental paperwork, protection plans, and applicable promotions
• Maintain accurate customer files, sales logs, and daily cash/transaction records
• Perform regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, security, and operational readiness
• Support delinquency processes, including courtesy calls and auction prep
• Reconcile daily payments and ensure accurate posting of rent and fees
• Report and escalate maintenance or property issues
• Deliver a friendly, professional, and consistent customer experience every day

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Office skills are an asset
• Comfortable working some Saturdays as part of a regular 5-day week
