The Program Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the program and ensuring high-quality services for individuals supported. This role provides leadership to program staff, ensures compliance with regulatory and funder requirements, and maintains the highest standards in clinical quality, staffing, financial management, and program operations. The Program Director promotes a person-centered, trauma-informed environment and demonstrates a strong commitment to RHD values.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, supervision, and support to program staff to ensure quality service delivery.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, performance management, and retention of staff.
Ensure program compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and funder requirements.
Collaborate with clinical and quality teams to implement trauma-informed, person-centered services and best practices.
Monitor program performance using data and metrics to maintain service quality and operational effectiveness.
Ensure individuals supported have current ISP/treatment plans and receive services that promote independence and recovery.
Oversee program budgets, expenditures, payroll, consumer funds, and financial processes.
Work with revenue cycle and service coordination teams to ensure proper authorizations, documentation, and billing.
Maintain communication with funders, regulatory bodies, and internal leadership.
Ensure all regulatory documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Management, or related field required (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a human service agency, including supervision, direct service, and program planning.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations and IDD guidelines preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively use computers, electronic health records, and mobile technology.
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience required.
PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and other required clearances.
This role may require standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The Program Director may also assist individuals supported with daily needs when necessary.
