ACE is an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., is seeking a part-time Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services to children, adolescents and adults. 

OUTPATIENT THERAPIST:

This position provides clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults with an identified mental health diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client. Outpatient therapy includes psycho-educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client in the reduction of behavioral and emotional dysfunction. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through goal specific interventions.

 Job Duties:

• Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning
• Conduct intake assessments with client and family members utilizing appropriate intake materials and continually assesses client needs, service availability and appropriateness
• Responsible for maintaining and managing all clinical and clerical requirements of the patient's chart and verifies client's insurance to ensure coverage and appropriate billing
• Participates in case consultation with Clinical Director for high risk or challenging cases
• Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community

Requirements:

• Ability to manage emotional situations in a calm and professional manner
• Excellent organization and planning
• Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
• Observes all policies and procedures on confidentiality of information

Education Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a related mental health field (i.e. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology)
• Bilingual and Licensed (LMSW, LAPC, LMFT, LPC, LCSW) applicants are eligible for increased hourly rate.

Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
