About the Role
Grasshopper Group, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., is seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults in a community-based outpatient setting. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults)
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific goals
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and trauma-informed care approaches
- Conduct therapeutic crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients in distress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and clinical documentation
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical counseling or therapy preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care
- Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and assessment procedures
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
- Strong clinical assessment skills to identify mental health needs accurately
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to provide behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors
Qualifications
Licensed or license-acquiring individuals are encouraged to apply (e.g., LSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent Indiana licensure in process).
