Under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse, you will ensure the nursing process is effectively applied, maintain HIPAA-compliant health records, and serve as a key resource for client wellness.Key Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Treatment: Administer physician-prescribed medications, vaccines, and routine medical treatments.


• Referrals & Coordination: Designate appropriate client referrals to contracted physicians and outside medical agencies.


• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and participate in periodically scheduled "on-call" shifts.


• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain complete client medical files in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, state licensing rules, and regulatory standards.


• Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels of medications and medical supplies.


• Health Education: Educate clients on hygiene, nutrition, diet, and healthy lifestyle habits.


• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

QualificationsRequired:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.


• At least 21 years of age.


• Valid Driver’s License.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Effective time management and organizational abilities.


• Confidence, leadership capability, and positive behavior management skills.


• Proficiency with standard office computer software and clinical management systems.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks, motor vehicle background check, and reference checks.


• Physical examination including TB screening and drug test.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Physical capacity to safely manage aggressive behavior when necessary.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and physically assist clients throughout the shift.
