Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated College Intern currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to support process optimization initiatives, focusing on improving routings, rates, ergonomics, and safety. The internship could start immediately and last 3 to 6 months based on performance and business needs. During the school session, this role would work 10-20 hours/week, extended hours available on school breaks.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be at least a sophomore standing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct accurate time studies and interpret data.
- Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing floor for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes.
