Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscaper to join our dynamic outdoor construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining durable outdoor hardscape features that enhance the beauty and functionality of construction projects. Your expertise will help bring landscape visions to life through precise craftsmanship, efficient use of tools, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse outdoor projects, from patios and walkways to retaining walls and decorative stonework, all while contributing to the transformation of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and construct various hardscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, stone features, and outdoor flooring using hand tools and power tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of project designs.
• Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks essential for outdoor installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, landscape architects, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction.
• Assist with site inspections, quality control checks, and troubleshooting during project execution to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assist in material procurement and cost management for construction projects.

Experience

• Proven experience in outdoor hardscape installation or related construction roles with a strong emphasis on building material installation.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints specific to hardscape projects.
• Hands-on experience operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely in outdoor settings.
• Knowledge of building construction practices including plumbing, electrical work (where applicable), window installation, flooring installation, glass installation, remodeling, and trim carpentry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocol adherence.
• Prior experience with construction inspection or site supervision is advantageous but not required.
• Strong understanding of safety standards related to outdoor construction sites in, ensuring compliance at all times.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
